Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Lafleur-Gazin is 100% Merlot with very alluring floral notes of violets, roses and raspberry leaves over a core of red and black currants, blackberries and incense plus a waft of damp soil. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and full of flavors, with grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on a perfumed note.
